Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) announces a new award sponsored by Sloane Auto Group in Glenside. Sloane Auto Group presented a monetary award to an EASTERN Automotive Technology senior selected by EASTERN’s Automotive Technology Instructor. The award criteria require that the candidate have a grade average of 85 percent or higher and will be pursuing postsecondary in automotive or going directly into the automotive field. The 2021 award recipient is Daniel Menko from Upper Dublin High School.
Sloane Auto Group has been in business for over 50 years. As a family owned and operated business, they have created a place where many have been able to build great careers. Another trait that the candidate for this award should encompass is commitment to the automotive field, and the desire to stay with a good company and build a career.
