The luncheon for this event was prepared by EASTERN’s Culinary Arts students and sponsored by Centric Bank.
EASTERN instructors shared education curricula for five areas of concentration – Automotive Technology, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and Protective Services. Local business leaders discussed the attributes and skills needed for a new employee in their business. Local business partners included Jamie Brett, O’Neil Collision Center; Donna Lanzetta, Aerodrome Hair Salon; Dave Nonnenman, RDN Renovations; Steve Stauffer, One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating,; and Lieutenant Timothy Troxell, Upper Moreland Police Department, and Andrea Ahern, Vice President of Centric Bank.
“I would like to thank Representative Murt and his Legislative Aide, Bill Dixon, for their work in making this event possible,” said Tom Allen, EASTERN’s Executive Director. “It is important for us to constantly make new connections with our local business community to benefit our students. We appreciate Representative Murt’s assistance and support in making this event so successful and beneficial for us.”
